Alcohol Ink on Tile

Tile provides the perfect hard shiny surface for exploiting the vibrant color of this medium. 6×6″ and 8-1/2 x 4-1/4″ tiles available. The main advantage of working on tile is it’s workability. You can completely erase and redo over and over until its right!

Also with tile you can set your work on fire! That’s right, burning away the alcohol moves and mixes the ink around in interesting and surprising ways for an organic looking effect!

Alcohol Ink on anti-reflective glass

Stack panes to build layers of translucent color! Low reflection glass reduces glare.

Alcohol Ink on Yupo paper

Creating a slightly softer and more blended look than tile, Yupo paper has the advantage of not being breakable. But it’s also not as erasable, and it’s more expensive. As such, Yupo paper is usually better for the more experienced..

Tile Coasters
